1. Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker PNP

Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker Provincial Nominee Program is designed to attract workers with some experience in the in-demand occupations in the Saskatchewan province. For a candidate to be eligible for this program, he/she must have at least one year of experience in one of the occupations listed in the province’s In-Demand Occupations List. 

Since Saskatchewan has expanded its In-Demand Occupations list, more candidates will now be eligible to apply. Also, candidates who are applying must have completed a post-secondary educational program of at least one year and should have some proficiency in either French or English language.

Saskatchewan’s International Skilled Worker PNP has two streams for candidates who live outside of Canada - the Saskatchewan Express Entry Stream for which the candidate should have an active Express Entry profile and the Saskatchewan Occupations In-Demand stream which does not require any Express Entry profile.

2.  Alberta’s Express Entry Stream

Alberta’s Express Entry Stream selects candidates from the Express Entry pool and invites them to apply for PR through their provincial nominee program. This means more candidates will be eligible to apply and will have a chance to receive a Notification of Interest (NOI) from the province. 

Receiving a provincial nomination will boost a candidate’s CRS score by 600 points which will virtually guarantee that they will receive an ITA for Canadian PR in the next Express Entry draw.

3.  Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream

Ontario is one of the hottest destinations for immigrants as many newcomers are drawn towards the hustle-bustle of Toronto city. Moreover, Toronto’s growing tech market and hence its constantly rising job market is another reason newcomers prefer Ontario province.
